Jeremy W. Smith

Jeremy Smith is a professional vocalist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His passion for music and lyric is apparent in each performance. Extensive training and experience in both classical and jazz singing, combined with several years of experience in musical theater and more than a decade of leading worship for various churches and organizations, have given Jeremy a unique style that is a blend of contemporary and serious qualities.

Raised just south of Fort Worth, Jeremy began his musical development at an early age studying piano, trombone, guitar, electric bass, percussion and voice. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Texas Wesleyan University where he was named Outstanding Music Major of the Year in 2009 for his performance as a vocalist and bassist. He is now pursuing a Master of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas where he performs with the renowned UNT Jazz Singers and other ensembles.

Jeremy is a member of Fort Worth's premier choral performing group Schola Cantorum of Texas, has performed lead roles for several musical theater productions, works frequently as a studio vocalist and regularly performs with his jazz quartet for private weddings, corporate events, live music venues and private parties. Additionally, he leads a Christian worship band which performs for various youth camps, retreats and other special events. Jeremy also offers private vocal lessons at Stage Notes School of Music in North Richland Hills as well as beginner lessons in piano, guitar/bass and percussion at his private studio.
